چکیده
Obtaining depth-selective images requires gating procedures such as spatial, nonlinear, or coherence to differentiate light originating from different depths of the volume interest. Nonlinear pulsed excitation sources and probes, limiting easy usage. Coherence also broadband interferometry requiring specialized stable setups. Spatial can be used both for fluorescence reflection geometry various thus has least requirements on hardware, but still use a pinhole which makes it difficult photography widefield imaging schemes. Here, we demonstrate that utilize single digital micromirror device (DMD) simultaneously function dynamic illumination modulator automatically synchronized array obtain depth-sectioned images. Utilizing multiplexed measurement advantage single-pixel imaging, show depth ballistic confocal pixel scheme utilized through glare multiple scattering where conventional fails recover clear due saturation random scattered noise.

Single-pixel polarimetric imaging.
We present an optical system that performs Stokes polarimetric imaging with a single-pixel detector. This fact is possible by applying the theory of compressive sampling to the data acquired by a commercial polarimeter without spatial resolution. The measurement process is governed by a spatial light modulator, which sequentially generates a set of preprogrammed light intensity patterns. Experi...

Single-pixel imaging (SPI) is a novel technique that captures 2D images using a photodiode, instead of conventional 2D array sensors. SPI has high signal-to-noise ratio, wide spectral range, low cost, and robustness to light scattering. Various algorithms have been proposed for SPI reconstruction, including linear correlation methods, the alternating projection (AP) method, and compressive sens...
متن کامل3D computational imaging with single-pixel detectors.
Computational imaging enables retrieval of the spatial information of an object with the use of single-pixel detectors. By projecting a series of known random patterns and measuring the backscattered intensity, it is possible to reconstruct a two-dimensional (2D) image. We used several single-pixel detectors in different locations to capture the 3D form of an object. From each detector we deriv...
متن کاملQuantitative single-molecule imaging by confocal laser scanning microscopy.
A new approach to quantitative single-molecule imaging by confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) is presented. It relies on fluorescence intensity distribution to analyze the molecular occurrence statistics captured by digital imaging and enables direct determination of the number of fluorescent molecules and their diffusion rates without resorting to temporal or spatial autocorrelation anal...
متن کاملSingle-wavelength reflected confocal and multiphoton microscopy for tissue imaging.
Both reflected confocal and multiphoton microscopy can have clinical diagnostic applications. The successful combination of both modalities in tissue imaging enables unique image contrast to be achieved, especially if a single laser excitation wavelength is used. We apply this approach for skin and corneal imaging using the 780-nm output of a femtosecond, titanium-sapphire laser. We find that t...
